Chancellor
I am hoping that someone will be able to help me... I am saving up to buy a digital camera and don't know which one would be the best to get At the moment, I only have an ordinary camera (Olympus AF10) that uses film, so if ever I take any photographs, I have to pay the developer more to copy the pictures to a CD for me so I can upload them to my computer and use them online I know someone who has a Canon EOS 5D and I really like that one (but it is a bit expensive) but if there are any expert professional photographers here (or anyone who just likes taking pictures), I would really like to know what you think and which cameras or even makes of camera, you would recommend. Thanks

Chancellor
Thank you both for your suggestions... It will be a few months yet before I can get one, but I will let you know what I end up with Well, it's taken me a long time to get back to you all with the answer to this one, but a few weeks ago, I bought a Canon EOS 7D Digital SLR Camera... It's hugely complicated and I still am not sure how to use all of the features on it but it's superb fun and there are so many different lenses you can get for different types of shot. I am wanting to get a tripod next but am having my usual problem of being indecisive and not knowing which one to buy!
Rares_CRM
It depends how much money you have to spend on a camera, and what photos would you like to take. A Canon 5d is a professional camera, i don't recomand a professional camera if you are a beginer. I suggest you to buy a entry level camera, like a Canon 550d for example with 18-135mm lens for start, or 18-55mm lens. For the moment, I have a Canon 550d with 28-75 F/2.8 lens, and a 430ex2 flashlight, wich helps a lot! You can view some pictures taken with my camera on my blog -> www.crm-photography.blogspot.com, I hope you like it.
