The author is a Romanian poet... We try to translated it in a proper decent way, I just hope we will... The reason I try is that that poem made me choose my nick (the poem has Romanian title VesperalŃ, translated verbatim of the evening ). Till now, with pnv and Chancellor help we have:

Vesperal woman

The woman who spoke to me last night
of immovable constellations
and falling stars
had a long languorous face, as green as a pear
dark yellow eyes as the depths of the seas

The woman who spoke to me last night
of little things, with no importance
had in her voice the warmth of the summer sun
her thoughts were of a deed of alliance

The woman who spoke to me last night
had lovely but bizarre ideas
She was saying that the lonely poplars are cursing words
and all the shining stars you see upon books
will one day tumble to earth

The woman who spoke to me last night
the one that shall always speak to me
she was a Mother once
yet still remains a Virgin
and even nowadays her Son has no Father

I will say thank you for any help to translated it in a better version or other languages.

No, my friend.
Is an old poem, the author, Ion Minulescu, a Romanian poet, lived between 1881-1944

I just love this poem, and took as nick for me the title of the poem, even if it is an adjective smile.gif For me this seems o good description of myself, I found myself in it as in a mirror a shadow...
vesperalŃ=of the evening...
