I can learn the date.

Today is Friday. - Azi este vineri.

Yesterday was Thursday. - Ieri a fost joi.

Tomorrow will be Saturday. - Mâine va fi sâmbătă.

I am - eu sunt
you are - tu ești, dumneavoastră sunteți
he/she is - el/ea este
we are - noi suntem
you are - voi sunteți, dumneavoastră sunteți
they are - ei sunt.

Romanian language use different words for second person singular or plural:

you are is translated in Romanian as tu ești (singular) and voi sunteți (plural).
But dumneavostră sunteți is the polite/formal form for the second person, plural and singular, and means also you are.

And you must remember that tu ești and voi sunteți is used when you talk with someone you know well, but you must use a formal/polite form when talk with strangers or your boss: dumneavoastră sunteți

YOU think it's easy, because you've been speaking it since you've been born (well, not so early, probably 1 year after that biggrin.gif ). Actually, although the words "are read just as they are written", the Romanian language is one of the hardest languages to learn, because of its complicated gramatics. smile.gif

In Chinesse it's hard to learn those letters, but I'm sure that if you do that, it'll be much easier. smile.gif As far as I know, one chinesse character represents a syllable (or smth like that... unsure.gif ) Require confirmation from Aviator emo-lol.gif

Oh! I don't think Romanian is easy for me, when I finish English course,
I almost give them back to the teacher, the last time I speak English 10 years ago at school.

You don't need to learn Chinese, because we all must learn English when we are students.
if one of you come to China, You can talk with a young Chinese in English.

But one of us come to Romania, I think I should learn Romanian, because a little people will
speak in English, they always speak in Romanian, I known it from the Discovery Channel" Travel the world"

I think I must live in Romania for 4 years at least, that I can know how to speak and read, write the Romania.

wrong channel, dear..emo-rade.gif

my friend, many children here use pc and they study English and French since they are 10 years old... So, the young generation does speak English... We had long time ago a communist system too, and then Russian language was studied in our schools, so maybe older generations speak French and Russian, if they did not forget it ... That happens 20 years ago...

things change continuously.
